Good company needs clear rules.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Sathivo, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and Safety & Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide truthful account information and must not impersonate another person.

3. Sathivo is strictly platonic

Sathivo is for non-sexual companionship and ordinary social activities. Dating services, escort services, sexual services, sexual offers, sexual activity, trafficking, exploitation or any attempt to use Sathivo for those purposes are prohibited.

4. Accounts and profiles

You are responsible for your account, password and activity. Keep your login credentials and OTP codes private. Public companion profiles are published only when the account holder chooses to publish them. Sathivo may hide, suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or create safety risk.

5. Bookings, rates and direct payments

A companion may set their own hourly companionship rate. A customer may send a booking request with a different hourly offer. If the companion accepts the request, that offered hourly amount is recorded as the agreed rate for that booking. The listed rate, customer offer and accepted rate are coordination records only; Sathivo is not the merchant, payment processor, escrow service or collection agent for the booking.

Sathivo does not collect, hold, transfer, settle or refund booking money. After agreeing, the participants may settle directly between themselves using cash, UPI/PhonePe/Google Pay or another lawful method they both choose. Sathivo does not guarantee off-platform payments, chargebacks, refunds or payment disputes. Never share a UPI PIN, OTP, password or bank-login credential through Sathivo.

A booking request or accepted rate does not create a guarantee that an interaction will happen. Users remain responsible for confirming the plan, public meeting place where applicable, boundaries and any direct payment between themselves.

6. Companion/customer relationship

Users choose whether to request or accept an interaction and are responsible for their own decisions, availability and conduct. Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, companions are independent users of the platform and are not employees or agents of Sathivo.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Sathivo a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service, including displaying content you intentionally publish. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

8. Prohibited conduct

You must not harass, threaten, stalk, discriminate against, exploit, deceive or endanger others; solicit sexual or illegal services; share another person's private information without permission; send spam; attempt fraud; bypass security controls; scrape or misuse the service; or use Sathivo to facilitate unlawful activity.

9. Safety and offline meetings

Use your own judgment. For in-person meetings, prefer public places, tell someone you trust, arrange your own transport and leave if you feel unsafe. Sathivo is not an emergency, therapy, counselling or crisis service.

10. Reports and enforcement

You can block or report users through the website. We may review reports, restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts or cooperate with lawful requests where appropriate. We may act without prior notice when reasonably necessary for safety, security or legal compliance.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, test, pause or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every city will have companions. Features marked as testing may change.

12. Disclaimer

Sathivo provides a platform for users to discover and coordinate platonic companionship. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee a user's identity, conduct, suitability, availability or the outcome of any interaction unless Sathivo explicitly states that a specific verification has been completed.

13. Ending your account

You may stop using Sathivo at any time and can permanently delete your account through Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory rights available to you under applicable law. Disputes that cannot be resolved through support may be brought before a court or authority with lawful jurisdiction.

15. Advertising

Sathivo may use advertising to support the service. During provider review or testing, placeholder ad spaces may be shown without live ad serving. If live ads are activated, advertising remains separate from user bookings, chats and moderation decisions. We do not intentionally provide advertisers with private chats, passwords or OTP codes.
